Eugene Campbell

Statement

Using collage, acrylics, and mixed media as his mediums, Eugene's style of representation can be as diverse as the students who influence his work. While focusing mainly on figurative representational imagery to reflect his subjects, he sometimes uses experiences from his classroom along with text to express ideas and explore themes that may have a deeper, more obscure understanding than can be expressed through imagery alone. Eugene has exhibited throughout the United States winning multiply awards and has pieces in private and public collections.
