Show and Tell is a series that includes two paintings that were inspired from real life experiences I encountered as an educator in the classroom. The first work addresses the need for young African American females to be comfortable and confident in their own skin. To recognize the joy of to be Black is to be Beautiful. The medium used to complete this painting was oil on canvas board.
