Brittany Alston

Brittany is a self-taught photographer/visual artist currently residing in Charleston, SC.  Brittany has also been interested in the arts, but just until recently, she has taken her artistic endeavors more seriously. As a result, she has worked as an art juror, arts grant panelists, film festivals, etc.  Brittany hopes to continue to work within the artistic field and expand her creativity. 

Brittany is a self-taught photographer/visual artist from Charleston, South Carolina. Brittany’s artworks have received much attention such as being featured in multiple art galleries/museums exhibitions which led to a couple of her artworks being on permanent display, worked on film festivals, a runway photographer for Fashion Week, a contributor to several magazines, etc. Brittany is determined to not only make “beautiful” artwork, but she also wants to make artworks that will connect with the viewer and hopefully to awaken the unconscious mind to
change the world for the better. Brittany’s scope of practice stems from constantly being inspired from her awareness of her emotions, current events, and her perception of the world around her. Brittany’s viewpoint of her artistry is constantly changing, and she tries to reflect
that by using her camera as her main discipline of work. Furthermore, Brittany is hoping that her various forms of artistry will ultimately expand into this huge body of work that will stand the test of times like other renowned artists.
