Thomas Burroughs Jr was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. A photographer, filmmaker, documentarian and storyteller, he has a great deal of videos published on YouTube including the introduction of the TB Slave Ship Cruise Ship with over one million viewers. In addition to this incredible project, he has also founded Be Black Media, a service prepared to offer historical education for those working to learn about their ancestry. His work and profile can also be found in the historical recognition publication of Who's Who in America given his incredible presentation of African American history here in the USA.
